A Birmingham and Nashville-based company has acquired a controlling interest in a boutique hotel in Tennessee.
Arlington Family Offices announced its acquisition of The Harpeth Franklin Downtown, a 119-room boutique hotel affiliated with Hilton’s Curio Collection.
The company acquired it from its original developer, Kemmons Wilson Hospitality Partners.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Arlington also owns a mixed-use project at the corner of Columbia Avenue and Margin Street in Franklin. The company represents a select group of families with collective net worths in excess of $15 billion.
Arlington CEO Kenneth Polk said the hotel’s “welcoming take on southern hospitality is a great addition to our ongoing development of the Margin District in downtown Franklin and another intergenerational asset for our client families.”
Harpeth Associates, who developed the hotel alongside Kemmons Wilson Hospitality Partners, owns four adjacent properties and will continue as an “increasingly significant owner,” according to a news release.
The property first opened in 2019.
The hotel and its guest suites, restaurants and event spaces will continue normal operations alongside the property management group, Valor Hospitality.
