Best Modes/Spirits Tier List
Modes/Spirits are one of the many attributes of your character that impact how strong you are and what abilities you can use.
All spirits in the game are unique and give your character a different appearance while the mode is active.
Furthermore, while the equipped mode is active, your character gets stat boosts such as higher movement speed, damage, etc., new abilities, or both boosts and abilities.
We will update this tier list as new spirits are released and or changes to current ones are released in the game.

The current tier list is based on the tier lists created by Shindo Life YouTubers XenoTy & ShindoJay, as well as input from the community.
All modes have been given a rank from S to D, with S being the highest and D the lowest.
The Level requirement refers to the level that your character must have reached to equip and use a mode.
Most modes have several stages within them, which are unlocked upon the mode itself reaching specific levels, not your character.
Getting a powerful mode will not only help you deal more damage in fights but can significantly speed up the rate at which you gain EXP.
You’ll be able to defeat enemies faster, but the main reason will be the increased movement speed, so you can get to and from quests faster if you get a mode that boosts your mobility, of course.
Therefore, we recommend you aim to get a good mode quickly in the game, as it’ll be of great help to you.
You can obtain modes in Shindo Life by finding them throughout the world, by defeating tailed beast bosses or other bosses like Deva, and from the War mode.
Some specific modes in the game are obtained through a bloodline, which means you need to have and level up the bloodline to unlock the mode.
We do not include bloodline modes in this tier list, only the actual modes listed under MODE in the Sub-Ability tab of Shindo.
If a bloodline you currently have equipped has one or more modes, you’ll see an ‘EQUIP’ button below its three abilities in the bloodlines tab in the menu.
Upon obtaining the scroll for a mode, you can unlock it in your modes inventory once you meet its requirements.
To equip a mode you already have, click ‘M’ to open the menu, go to Sub-Ability, scroll down to the Mode section, and then click and equip the mode you wish to use.
You can find the spawn time, spawn chance, location, as well as a live countdown of each mode in Shindo Life in our all spawn times list.
Because almost every spirit in the game is very powerful, they are all quite hard to obtain.
Modes have both a low spawn chance, and many of them require you to defeat a powerful boss before the spirit scroll is dropped.
In the following tier list, we rank all modes/spirits in Shindo Life based on how powerful they are, both the ones that you obtain by finding from spawns and the ones you can get through bloodlines.
You can also see the spawn chance and the level requirement to unlock each of the modes in the list below.
Modes that have multiple level requirements are modes that have stages – it becomes stronger once a new stage is unlocked.
That’s the tier list on the best modes/spirits in Shindo Life!
